KITH Kids
For KITH Kids in SoHo, New York, 3TO5 worked with Snarkitecture on the fabrication of the store’s marble, stainless-steel and custom display elements.
The project
The 1,050-square-foot flagship builds on KITH’s established material language of stone, glass and metal, introducing color in a more playful way. Carrara marble runs through floors, walls and furniture, punctuated by pale pink onyx, Azul Macaubas, honey onyx and Pinta Green marble. At the entrance, 3TO5 fabricated a monumental marble portal combining all four stones, with integrated shelving in a custom stainless-steel finish and built-in LED lighting that turns the structure into both an architectural frame and a display system. The same material language continues underfoot, where 3TO5 produced custom Carrara marble flooring with KITH lettering inlaid in the four colored marbles, a graphic detail conceived to recall children’s alphabet blocks.

Carrara marble flooring, furniture and display elements
Carrara marble becomes the constant throughout the store. 3TO5 used it for the window bases, freestanding furniture, display tables and drawers, as well as for a custom bench built around a metal structure and clad entirely in stone. The walls bring Carrara together with mirror and stainless steel, creating a more reflective backdrop while keeping the palette deliberately controlled.

Integrated marble and stainless-steel display systems
Rather than separating fixtures from the interior, the project treats display as part of the architecture. Shelving, benches, tables, walls and flooring all work within the same material system, while the colored stone introduces just enough variation to shift the familiar KITH language toward a younger audience. The result is playful without becoming literal: a children’s store defined through proportion, color and material rather than decoration.
