Private Residence

Curves, radiused edges and rounded surfaces recur across furniture, millwork and architectural elements, creating continuity between the main house, guest pool house and home office. Wood defines much of the material language, from natural light oak and stained solid wood to refined veneers and flamed surfaces. Lacquered finishes, natural fabrics and stainless steel in satin, polished and mirror finishes introduce contrast, while integrated lighting, concealed systems and custom hardware are worked directly into the architecture.

In the main house, custom cabinetry and furniture follow the project’s softer geometry, with rounded edges and carefully resolved transitions between wood, lacquer and upholstery. 3TO5 fabricated millwork for the living and dining areas, including an integrated bench and bespoke furniture elements. The detailing keeps functional components visually quiet, allowing materials and proportions to define the rooms.

The guest pool house brings together more complex geometries and a sharper material contrast. 3TO5 fabricated a full-height bookcase, bespoke kitchen and integrated furniture elements, alongside a mirror-polished stainless steel column incorporated directly into the composition. Reflective metal sits against the warmth of wood, giving the smaller building a distinct identity while remaining connected to the language of the main residence.

For the home office, 3TO5 developed bespoke millwork with integrated lighting and custom hardware. More functional in nature, the space follows the same material discipline as the rest of the residence, extending Studio RODA’s design language into a quieter and highly tailored workspace.
